Angāra is a study in tonal depth. The overcoat is built from two distinct fabrics — a coarse raw cotton for structure and handspun linen for drape — joined through a technique we call 'seam mapping', where the joining itself becomes an ornamental feature. The charcoal dye is derived from bamboo and coconut shell, giving the fabric a smoky, lived-in quality. This piece gains character with wear; it is designed to age alongside its collector.
Raw cotton and handspun linen, dyed with bamboo and coconut shell charcoal. Dry clean or hand wash cold. The fabric will soften and develop natural patina with use — this is intentional and desirable.
Each piece is carefully prepared and shipped from our Bangalore studio. Delivery timelines vary based on location and will be confirmed upon enquiry.
For international collectors, customs duties may apply at the destination country.
A structured overcoat where raw cotton meets handspun linen — the tonal depth of charcoal dye creates a surface that is at once muted and alive.

Every Myth Era garment is a singular work of wearable art. No two pieces are alike. Each carries the story of the artist, the concept, and the making.
